全球化消費主義引致的大眾生活指標及 Adorno 所謂的假個人主義; 國族身份危機; 資訊科技操縱; 人格裂成碎片...這一代人面對迷失和空虛是史無前例. 一場大海嘨再一次證明資本主資的荒誕, 說悲觀,其實不然, 香港封閉的社會結構下, 藝術到底還是要其發揮作用, 對抗機械化的理性思維.<br /><br />個体的人生意義必定要重新反省.<br />但到底為缺乏歷史感, 政治意識和核心價值; 抑或是擺脫了上一代人面對的歷史束縳, 政治困局, 傳統價值... 誰敢判斷那種敘述是對是錯?<br /><br />Susan Sontag 於評論集 The Aesthetics of Silence 一開首內提到:<br />“Every era has to reinvent the project of "spirituality" for itself. (Spirituality = plans, terminologies, ideas of deportment aimed at resolving the painful structural contradictions inherent in the human situation, at the completion of human consciousness, at transcendence.)"<br />內容大概是指, 每一個時代也必須重新創造當時的一種精神, 而精神可被理解為某種計劃或信念以回應人類意識中痛苦, 矛盾的處境.<br /><br />捌 拾人的成立就是希望在這處境底下作出反應,希望能為香港新時代創造出某種精神. 在種種乍聽下既沮喪又帶點老掉牙的控訴下, 其實正正是新一代香港創作人自身的一種優勢; 近乎不能表達的複雜文化特性, 曖昧含糊的立場, 又自戀,又自卑的矛盾心情... 就是值得新一代創作人正視和表達的一些題材和處境.<br /><br />作為一個個体, 我懷有某種政冶或文化立場. 但捌拾人將不會單為某種立場服務, 唯以創作刻劃新一代的曖昧特質.<br /><br />捌拾人希望:<br />- 為香港加入更多當代文化, 生活討論及創作<br />- 以創作介入城市, 介入工作<br />- 喚起感性思維<br />- 重新詮釋二十世紀重要文藝題目<br /><br />作為一個起步點, 一眾團員會以 Blog 作為媒介, 進行系列性的實踐.<br />以下是實踐的部分:<br />1. (keywords) 不定期拋出一個關鍵詞, 團員針對關鍵詞作一篇作品輸入. 大概一個月兩次.<br />2.
